A new collaboration between Heddens Farm and local chef Donna Henry, founder and owner of Chef Duet Catering Co., is bringing together farm produce and professional cooking through a new venture called “The Farmer & The Chef.”
The partnership will see meat and vegetables produced at Heddens Farm prepared and developed through the production kitchen at Chef Duet Catering Co., creating a new range of prepared foods, recipe-led chef boxes and seasonal farm kitchen products.
The collaboration has been created with a clear goal: to ensure that more locally grown produce goes directly from farm to kitchen and ultimately onto people’s plates.
