Welcome to our Farm Shop
Heddens of Woodtown is a traditional farm shop located on the Heddens family working farm. We’re located at Woodtown which is a short drive from Bideford, North Devon.
What makes our Farm shop unique is that it’s actually on our own farm selling our own products. Many new ‘farm shops’ are just shops, not on a farm and importing products from other farms and wholesalers. There is nothing wrong with this approach but is not within the traditional field to fork mantra that we practice and preach! We sell all of our own produce and when it is out of season or something we do not grow we alway (as much as possible) source our food from local independent farms and growers. We believe that over 90% of all of produce comes from the South West.
We don’t just stock produce just for the stake of the location, we make sure that we source and stock the very highest quality meats, vegetables and fruit. We want you to experience the very best in quality which is supporting local farmers.
Unlike many farm shops, our Woodtown Farm Shop is located on our family farm in Woodtown, Nr Bideford, North Devon. We’re about a 10 minute drive from Bideford and about a 15 minute drive from Barnstaple, but the drive is definability worth the time. Our in house butchers will be able to recommend the best cuts and freshest produce. We’ll be able to tell you exactly what is grown on our farm and exactly where all the produce comes from.
